With my car engine blowing and me not having a car for another two weeks I decided to take pictures in Bushnell Park. Bushnell Park is actually one of my favorite places . I tried to play close attention to shadows and funny thing is while I walked the park with my children we met a group of photographers who happened to also, be taken pictures of the scenery . So I decided to ask for a little advice and one told me the close that I get to the object the better the shadow . I’ll be posting more tomorrow.
Getting in closer is always great advice! Be careful not to "blow out" the highlights as in the 2nd one... Although I don't love the filters that edit excessively, the bottom shot is my favorite from a composition and interest point of view. See how the vignetting enhances it? Snapseed is a free app that has more sophisticated editing tools that will allow you to have more control and get better results.
