Eeek... sorry about your ears... feel better... The strongest shot is the series is are the feathers (close up) and illuminated.... One thing I'd like you to work on is to not allow blow-outs (pure white areas) as with the Buddha and to think more abstractly... getting in close should reveal something we didn't see before.... Do a google images search for "macro" and see what sparks your interest.
