My name is Sarah and this is my final class at Albertus Magnus College! I was actually able to walk on May 19, 2019 with only having this class left. I am so excited to finally finish and start the next chapter in my life, which is 12 months of nursing and I will have finally earned my BS and my RN degrees. I graduated/walked in May with a Bachelors in Business Management. My last class with professor Nieves was Graphic Design and I struggled a bit. I thought photoshop and working with design would be easy, but I was wrong, so I’m hoping this will be a little bit easier for me! I am not really that tech savvy either. I know what I need to know and how to get by and that’s pretty much it. I’m hoping to learn more on photoshop and to learn digital photography. I don't currently own a camera, but would love to invest in one in the future. I have always just used my phone. My self portrait above was taken with my iPhone 6s (yes, I desperately need to update my phone) and it was cropped and edited using an app/filter.
Congratulations Sarah on attending nursing school and in finishing your Albertus degree! These classes with me involving technology are really good for you in terms of getting you comfortable with advanced computer use and cloud computing etc. that is the entire future of the health professions and the more you know from classes with me the better position you'll be in careerwise. Thanks for letting me know about the phone you're using… If you're interested I could lend you a Canon in D SLR.
ReplyDeleteGood morning professor Nevins, I think I may buy a camera this weekend actually. I've always wanted one anyway. Do you have any suggestions on which brand/kind I should get? Something that wont break my bank account, lol. Also, the whole iCloud thing is so confusing to me, I don't know why?
