Sorry I haven't posted in a while, its been a crazy week. My father-in-law was admitted to Smilow Cancer Center and I've spent a lot of my time there this week. While I was visiting him, I brought my camera just incase something caught my eye. There was a particular hallway that had some good lighting to me, but let's be honest, nothing there is happy or has good lighting. I am however, on vacation this week and I will be at the beach capturing some beautiful shots.

Sorry to hear about your father in law... hopefully he will recover and get on top of his illness. The shot of the hallway is classic in terms of the one point perspective and the strength of the leading lines emphasizing the focal point, which is the end of the hall. The sterile environment and fluorescent lighting does feel a bit lonely... but the reflection of light on the floor offers some hope.
