Here are a few more water theme shots. As the first two illustrate, I like shots that isolates a subject in a basic setting, like sand, concrete, or wood, without the noise of other distracting items or competing subjects. I like the feel of isolation, if that makes sense.
For this one I like the focused foreground contrasted with the background blur.
Love the evening light here Tracy... The top one with the abandoned sandals is poetic and filled with metaphoric possibilities... the lovely light on the bottom one is beautifully seen. Tilting the camera upward and putting the horizon line of the water where you did is perfect. I created 2 short videos on some editing possibilities for these...Will post above.
