I'm so glad you posted pictures from both your iPhone and your Canon, Eddie. Look how incredibly better the iPhone pictures are. They are better for sharpness, exposure, color balance etc. Mostly it's because the light in the first three pictures is working so beautifully on her face. As I said on day one, it's all about the light. In the series done with your Canon, there's a combination of flash on camera, it seems, which is deadly… and backlighting which is also deadly. The framing is is not very good either as the camera is held in the horizontal position. The iPhone and it's new portrait mode has really changed the game for new photographers. Your work proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.
So the first three pictures showed me that all is well and that you really got this assignment. Seeing the huge difference between the first three and the next six is all the education you need concerning this assignment. Well done.
